your rediscovery of self-worth

Updated: Jul 13

somewhere along the way you may have forgotten just how lovely you are, but that’s okay. though it may not seem like it, every version of you is worthy of effort, love, and care. every life you have lived is valuable. your brain may have just begun to seek refutation- a search for each time you made a mistake, were not as productive as you wanted to be, or stayed somewhere just a bit “too long.” remind your brain that it is you in charge, and as the boss you have decided to end that search. as boss, you have the final say! now, just for fun, what would you say to yourself if you felt yourself worthy?

time ticks and so do you, but do you know that every tick is unique? do you know that in all of your forms you are God, Source, the Universe, Spirit, and your ancestors embodied? this may seem like an impossibility and if so, try to give yourself grace. sit with that perception and make peace with it. even light can be difficult to fathom when you’ve been sitting in the dark for a while. now is a wonderful time to remember your worth! hug the you that has found it difficult to get out of bed in the morning. embrace the you that isn’t quite where you want to be, but tries their best. love you. master you.

to be clear, the question was never whether or not you are worthy. the question has always been why you believed you were not! through self-mastery you are getting to know yourself, as many times as it takes, in order to discover that your worth is constant. your worth cannot be diminished! you only need to decide which parts of yourself and of your life you want to grow and continue and which you will decide to lovingly lay to rest. this process of elimination is not completed in shame and judgement; this is a process completed in understanding and peace. anything you release cannot thrive in your new environment. allow what no longer works for you to find its alignment elsewhere! release with love. release with reverence! bosses don’t always fire employees because they are terrible at their job. sometimes their skillset has simply outgrown their current workplace.

every part of you is worthy. when you feel the opposite, remember the possibility of that part being better utilized in another way or place.

peace be!
